The CNN Political Ticker follows many aspects of American politics. Currently, it's mainly centered around the presidential debate. It also discusses the current economic crisis. It has tons of entry each day about all different political stories. If there's anything happening in politics, it's on this blog.
This blog has way more posts each day then any other blog I've looked at. This blog isn't biased. While the entries themselves may be biased, it provides articles that support both sides in the presidential election. The blog posts are not all written by the same person, so you get many different opinions on similar topics.
One entry on the blog describes which candidate is getting which electoral votes as of now. New research is showing that more states are tending towards Obama at this time. The entry has an up to date map of which states are voting or leaning which way. I think that a great deal can still change between now and election day. While those key states are tending towards Obama now, nothing is secured until the actual election takes place. We'll just have to wait and see who wins this presidential election.

I looked at this blog and it is a very good source for tracking the political news. There are many aspects of this blog and it is very professional and is updated frequently. I think it is a reputable blog to look at and has a lot of useful information with many points of view!
